Have you been to Wales?

Has anyone here been to wales on holiday or even just for the weekend or day down there? I have been thinking of going to Cardiff for a week or weekend for a few nights out on the town. :D

Wales isn't on the top of my list of places I want to visit, but I still really want to experience it! I'd love to just rent a small house out in some village and just have a really peaceful vacation, and maybe spend the evenings at the village pub.

if i was going to Wales i wouldnt want to go to Cardiff Swansea or Newport i would like to visit places Saundersfoot, Snowdonia National Park, Bala and Bron Yr Aur last one Led Zeppelin fans may understand

I went to Wales a couple of years ago and went to Mount Snowden as well whilst we were there. It was a great trip and I enjoyed walking up the mountain, but it was very tough! I'd recommend going. I found Cardiff was a great place, busy city.

I have not been to Wales but my kids have a friend who tends to go to Wales a lot as she has family in Wales.

I would love to one day visit Wales, mainly because I would love to experience having been there and to also say I had left England in my lifetime
