My favorite Call of Duty is, and always will be, Black Ops 2. Second would either be Modern Warfare 2 or Black Ops. Soooo many sleepless nights with friends playing on maps like Nuketown 2025, Raid, and especially Hijacked. Zombies was just the perfect compliment to the fast-paced multiplayer with slower-paced, more relaxing gameplay of killing the undead. The campaign was cool too, since I remember sharing the different the path choices with others in high school during lunch.
Honestly, the only downsides were the quickscopers and some bad maps like Drone.

I'm a sucker for Modern Warfare 2. Often when I need to just kick back and relax after a long day at work or after studying for an exam, I play some MW2.

I thought the online multiplayer servers for that game were hacked and literally unplayable now. I wouldn't know myself though, since I haven't touched that game in ages.

There are a lot of hacked lobbies, but still probably 19/20 lobbies are clean. It's irritating, but not unbearable.
My favorites are probably MW2, MW3, and BO2. I bought Ghosts when it came out, and I thought it was so bad I haven't really played CoD since. Anything before Ghosts though is decent in my eyes (except CoD 3). The brand has gone down hill a lot in my opinion in recent years.
