You cannot setup a domain that is the same as the servers hostname

I am trying to setup a cpanel in the WHM account for a cPanel vps.

But it is being used as server host name. How can we fix this?

You need to change the server's hostname first in order to be able to use this domain for a hosting account.

Once you have changed the server's hostname the account will be created successfully.

When I try and change the DNS zone I get these errors ?

You do not need to change the DNS zone, you simply have to change your server's hostname from the Basic server configuration section.
