Where did you buy/get your pet from?

Where did you buy your pet from? or if you got it for free, where abouts from? Why did you chose to use that place / person to get your pet? What kind of pet do you have?

I paid $77 for my Pit/German Shepard mix from the local animal shelter. She was an abused puppy mill momma dog that was heartworm positive. After treatment, she is still heartworm free more than 2 years later.


(The day we got her)
Our other one Brandy, she showed up on our doorstep as a puppy. She is a Pit/Great Dane mix. She still had puppy breath. She was covered in fleas and scratches all over her body from itching the fleas. Brought her in, gave her a bath and decided she was ours after a week of no one looking for her.
