    Glad to hear about your family; how come you're not doing so well? Exams stressing you out?

    Hahahahaha!!!! I'm not actually pissed or disturbed about you calling me ma'am, Abdullah. It just sounds like what I'd call my Granny if she were still alive. I'm just Smooth! Or Criss, if you care to use my first name. I was more or less joking with you about my age when I made that comment about calling me ma'am. I do prefer my name or my tag to ma'am!! (My "tag" is Smooth. Among bikers, many people are given a nickname, or a "tag". I was given the tag Smooth many years ago, and I like to use it as my screen name in case I come across another biker, so we can swap stories, and because I'm used to answering to it. :cool:
    Sometimes I go in fits and starts getting on my computer. I can go days without turning it on, especially if I'm reading a particularly good book. But any time I do get on my computer, you can bet I'll be stopping in here! The people are very different from my other forum and I'm enjoying something new.

    Right off the bat, I'd like to say this: Just because I'm older that doesn't mean you need to call me "ma'am"! That's just mean!! LOL!!!
    I am really enjoying the forum so far. I like to talk to younger people in the hopes of understanding my son better. And because I like to learn about anything. If I box myself into any space about anything, I could miss out on learning something, and any day you learn something new is a good day.
    I very much appreciate your comments and I would like it if we talked, anytime! I have lots of free time, as I'm disabled, and anything to occupy my time is a good thing. No, you didn't sound weird at all. You sound like a very nice young man!
    Everyone here has been very friendly and I feel I'm off to an auspicious start.

    I would've loved to visit Syria before the war!!! My aim is to go to Lebanon, Jordan and Gaza. I'm working in Israel for 8months, starting in October. I hope I can visit some places after I'm done there.

    It's very different but I like the new change from living at home. Gives me a chance to grow up a bit + The woman I live with is lovely, she's my dads ex girlfriend so I've known her since I was a little kid.

    And that's great to hear! Egypt is a lovely country, I've been there 3 times and loved it.

    Alright I suppose, exams have started so I'm mega stressed. I also don't live at home anymore or talk to any of my family so trying to adjust to things.
